Harvest 2020: Mountain vineyard

The Douro Valley is the largest area of hot climate mountain vineyard in the world. The vines at Quinta de Vargellas are planted on terraces built on the very steep hillsides. The vines provide low yields of very high quality grapes and much of the vineyard work is done by hand.
