Taylor's has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment
Taylor’s has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment as a supplier of Port Wines to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Royal Warrant is granted as a mark of recognition that the Warrant Holder is a regular supplier to Her Majesty or to her Household.
Taylor’s is proud to have supplied the Queen and the Royal Household for many years.
Although the privileges associated with the Royal Warrant of Appointment are enjoyed by the company, the Warrant itself is granted to an individual. Taylor’s Royal Warrant has been granted to the company’s managing Director, Adrian Bridge, who will represent the company in its communications with the Royal Household.
Adrian commented: ‘The granting of the Royal Warrant coincides with Taylor’s 325th anniversary and I can think of no better way to mark this important milestone in our company’s long and distinguished history.’ He added: ‘I would like to congratulate our team on maintaining the standards of excellence which have allowed us to be awarded this important recognition’.
Taylor’s was founded in 1692 and has been under family management throughout its history. It is particularly well known and admired for its elegant and long lasting Vintage Ports.
