Graduated in Agronomic Engineering, specializing in Viticulture and Oenology, from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, and holding a postgraduate degree in Wine Management from ISEG/ISA.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, his career includes experience in several Portuguese wine regions – Alentejo, Lisbon, Bairrada, Beira Interior, and for the last 12 years, the Douro – as well as international experience in Barossa Valley and Margaret River in Australia.

Throughout his career, he has built a successful track record across various functional areas, holding positions in Oenology, Viticulture, Production, and Management.

After having worked as a student at The Fladgate Partnership in 2002, he returned in 2013, assuming now the role of Douro winemaking Director.
